A Bachelor's degree in Global Environmental Systems enables students to concentrate on ecological challenges, with special emphasis on climate change. Through an international lens, you'll examine how social and natural systems intersect (such as urban expansion impacting animal habitats), study the outcomes of these interactions, and discover potential solutions to reduce their harmful impacts. You'll develop expertise in sophisticated data interpretation and predictive modeling.
Our planet is undergoing rapid transformation across ecological, social, political, and economic spheres. Grasping the causes of these shifts, their interconnected nature, and societal responses is essential. The program's emphasis on human-environment relationships and cross-disciplinary approaches will provide you with the competencies needed to tackle significant contemporary global issues.
If you've completed, or are about to complete, your grade 12 or senior year in a Canadian, American, or international high school.
