Psychology explores human behavior, thought processes, and feelings through scientific methods. Our research investigates psychological phenomena across various scales, from neural mechanisms to wider social influences. Aspiring honors students begin in the major program and, after fulfilling specific academic criteria, can request admission to the honors track.
The Psychology Department provides educational opportunities for both undergraduate and graduate students. Undergraduate options include BA and BA Honors in Psychology, along with combined majors, minors, and extended minors for those studying other fields. For graduate education, we provide MA and PhD programs covering six fundamental psychology specialties, plus a specialized Clinical Psychology PhD program for professional training.
