For those who naturally inquire "What leads you to that conclusion" and seek to understand the foundations of our beliefs, Philosophy provides structured methods to explore these questions. The Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences offers Philosophy studies including a major, minor, and ethics certificate, available initially at the Surrey campus. To pursue this specialization, students must fulfill both the lower division prerequisites for the Philosophy Major and the subsequent upper division coursework.

Qualification Requirements
Official International High school Transcripts required.Submit a transcript which includes grades for all courses completed and final grades for the first semester of Senior Year. Graduation from a university-preparatory program at a senior high school. International Baccalaureate IB Diploma is required.
IELTS - All test formats accepted with a minimum overall band score of 6.5 with no part less than 6.0. TOEFL IBT with an overall score of 88 or better with a minimum score of 20 in each of the four components (listening, speaking, writing, reading). Pearson Test of English Academic (PTE Academic) with an overall score of 65, with no part less than 60.
