This interdisciplinary program examines connections between both fields. Students should design their curriculum with guidance from advisors in both departments. The majors are offered at both Surrey and Burnaby campuses, so both locations are indicated. Students must fulfill 120 credit units according to the outlined requirements.
For the History portion, the requirements mirror those of the History major, with the difference that students only need to complete 24 upper division units instead of 32.
Global Humanities courses attract students interested in various subjects including classical and medieval studies, contemporary thought and culture, Renaissance humanism, and world religions. By transcending traditional academic boundaries, students develop skills to formulate inquiries and explore fundamental aspects of human existence.
If you've completed, or are about to complete, your grade 12 or senior year in a Canadian, American, or international high school.
