The Art Fundamentals program focuses on hands-on studio practice. From day one, you'll create artwork while developing technical abilities and identifying your artistic strengths and interests. The program also introduces various pathways for continued education and visual arts careers. By year's end, you'll have developed a portfolio and started shaping your artistic voice.
Earning your Art Fundamentals certificate prepares you for advanced studies. Sheridan graduates can apply to Visual and Creative Arts programs. Those who achieve a 3.5 GPA may qualify for OCAD University's Bachelor of Fine Arts or Brock University's BA program.
