Your coursework will cover animal biology, dietary needs, companion animal studies, exotic species science, pet grooming techniques, veterinary nursing practices, and proper animal interaction methods. Through supervised hands-on experience, you'll develop practical abilities in animal restraint, care routines, feeding protocols, grooming procedures, and simulated veterinary scenarios.

Ontario Secondary School Diploma or equivalent, including these required courses:
One English, Grade 12 (ENG4C or ENG4U) plus one of:
Chemistry, Grade 12 (C or U), or Chemistry, Grade 11 (U), or Biology, Grade 11 (C or U) or
Mature student status.

iTEP Academic - overall score 3.7
PTE Academic (Pearson Test of English) online or in person - overall score 58 with no individual section below 49
Duolingo English Language Test - overall score of 105 with no individual subscore lower than 85
Cambridge English Test Exams (B2 First/C1 Advanced/C2 Proficiency score) - overall Cambridge English Scale score 169 with no individual score below 162
CAEL (Canadian Academic English Language) online or in person - overall score 60 with no individual section below 50
Sheridan EPA test - Listening Band - 4.0 Reading Combined Band - 4.0 Writing - CLB 7
Sheridan's ESL program EAP level - A minimum score of 70% in listening and speaking and 70% in reading and writing. General Education courses and Navigating Digital Environments (INFO) minimum required grade of 50%.
