As an electromechanical engineering technologist, you'll gain more advanced expertise in automation and robotics compared to graduates from our two-year Electromechanical Engineering Technician program. Expand your skills through coursework covering programmable logic controllers, robotics programming and applications, electropneumatics, fluid power systems, HVAC, computer-integrated manufacturing, 3D modeling, and additional topics.

Demonstrate your value to potential employers before graduation During your final semester, you'll collaborate with other engineering students on a capstone project, developing solutions for our industry partners. You may also pursue a paid co-op position, gaining a full year of practical experience. Many students secure employment directly through their capstone projects or co-op placements.

Career Pathways
Electromechanical engineering combines the fundamental principles of both electrical and mechanical engineering. Nearly all contemporary engineering products incorporate concepts from these two interconnected engineering disciplines.
