The global sports, entertainment, and events sector forms a multi-billion dollar industry undergoing rapid transformation. Growing consumer interest in live, virtual, and hybrid formats for sports, esports, and entertainment is fueling innovation and expansion. This growth is further propelled by the increasing importance of experiential branding and sponsorship initiatives.
Through this eight-month graduate certificate course, you'll gain insights into this vibrant field and understand how event organizers, marketing firms, and corporate sponsors collaborate. You'll develop skills in applying strategic marketing and brand management concepts to create event experiences and promotional campaigns. This program equips you for professional opportunities across private, non-profit, and government organizations within the sports, entertainment, and event marketing landscape.
Ontario university or college degree or college diploma or equivalent
Applicants with an equivalent combination of partial postsecondary and/or three to five years of related work experience may be considered for admission. A relevant resumé and references must be provided.
