This program is available through Seneca's hybrid learning approach, combining online coursework with mandatory in-person sessions. Attendance on campus is required for certain components.
Over eight months, this graduate certificate program teaches 3D digital modeling and animation using advanced computer systems, specialized software, and industry-standard tools. You'll explore animation fundamentals while gaining expertise in lighting techniques, surface texturing, rendering processes, and core 3D animation principles.
Ontario university or college degree, or college diploma, or equivalent in fine art, 2D/3D animation, photography, film/video, architecture, or graphic design.
Applicants with an equivalent combination of partial postsecondary and/or three to five years related work experience may be considered for admissions. A relevant resumé and references must be provided.
