This two-year diploma stands as the inaugural program of its type in the Greater Toronto Area. Specifically crafted to address increasing demands for improved occupational health and safety across all sectors, it provides comprehensive training. Students will build solid fundamental understanding of safety protocols to recognize, evaluate, and control hazards in diverse work environments. The curriculum emphasizes care and prevention guidelines while integrating theoretical learning with hands-on practice through field placements. Graduates will emerge equipped with the expertise to detect and document workplace safety and health concerns effectively.
Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD), or equivalent, or a mature applicant
English: Grade 12 C or U, or equivalent course
Chemistry: Grade 12 C or Grade 11 U, or Biology Grade 11 C or U, or equivalent course
