Seneca's King Campus lies within an ecologically important wetland area that serves as the origin point for the Humber River watershed, a designated Canadian Heritage River. This distinctive two-year diploma program primarily conducts its outdoor instruction on these grounds. Students will explore ecological principles, historical landscaping techniques, hands-on competencies, and gain comprehensive knowledge of local ecosystems - equipping them to assess human environmental impacts while developing conservation and restoration strategies.
Both private and public sectors are experiencing increased need for environmental landscape professionals, creating strong demand for graduates with dedicated expertise and practical skills in this field.
