The Honours Bachelor of Mental Health and Addiction (BMHA) program provides a comprehensive, interdisciplinary education in mental health and addiction studies. You'll examine health determinants, social equity, and biopsychosocial models while developing both theoretical understanding and hands-on skills for delivering mental health and addiction services.
With its recovery-focused curriculum, the program prepares you to critically assess how services impact individuals, families, and communities. Throughout your studies, you'll investigate various subjects and proven methods in mental health and addiction care, covering therapeutic interventions, trauma-aware approaches, case coordination, communication strategies, counseling methods, and health determinants for community wellness.
