Our new Bachelor of Computer Science degree equips students to become adaptable, forward-thinking professionals in today's dynamic tech landscape.
This groundbreaking three-year program emphasizes inclusion (covering equity, diversity, and accessibility), combining rigorous technical education with hands-on career preparation. Students will investigate multiple computer science domains, including UI design, cybersecurity, cloud technologies, AI, system architectures, software development, and beyond.
Beyond technical expertise and computer science theory, the curriculum fosters essential workplace skills like innovative troubleshooting and professional communication through real-world case studies and collaborative projects. A required co-op placement bridges academic knowledge with practical application across computing fields. The program's distinctive emphasis on inclusion and accessibility empowers graduates to harness varied viewpoints for creative problem-solving and effective teamwork in diverse environments.
Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD) or equivalent or a mature applicant; including six courses from the University (U) or University/College (M) or College (C) stream with a minimum overall average of 65%.
Required courses with minimum final grade of 65% in each:
English: Grade 12 (C or U), or equivalent course
Mathematics: Grade 12 (C or U), or Grade 11 (M or U), or equivalent course
