The Robotics and Automation graduate certificate equips students with specialized knowledge, practical skills, and professional competencies for careers in robotic applications and automation - fields experiencing significant demand.
While it might seem futuristic, automation is reshaping employment landscapes. Within the coming decade, automation could impact close to 50% of Canada's workforce. This technological evolution is driving expansion in innovative product design, advanced manufacturing processes, and rigorous testing methodologies.
A College Diploma or University Degree in a related field such as Electrical, Mechanical, Mechatronics or Metal Fabrication.
Candidates with related industry experience may also be granted admission at the discretion of the program Dean.
Results must be from within two years of the start of the program and must meet the following minimum requirements:
TOEFL score of 88 for the Internet-based Test (iBT) and no test below 21
IELTS Academic score of 6.5 with no band lower than 6.0
Cambridge English Exam C1 Advanced or C2 Proficiency with a Cambridge Score of 176 or more with no single test score below 169
PTE Academic 60
Duolingo 115
CAEL overall band score of 70 and no part below 60
Canadian Language Benchmarks (CLB) Level 8 for all areas: reading, writing, speaking, listening
