Qualification Requirements

Ontario College Diploma, Ontario College Advanced Diploma, Degree, or equivalent. A diploma or degree in a health-related field degree is an asset.

Applicants whose first language is not English, must provide proof of English proficiency. Sault College accepts the TOEFL, or IELTS, or equivalent test to satisfy our English admission requirements.

Results must be from within two years of the start of the program and must meet the following minimum requirements:

TOEFL score of 88 for the Internet-based Test (iBT) and no test below 21

IELTS Academic score of 6.5 with no band lower than 6.0

Cambridge English Exam C1 Advanced or C2 Proficiency with a Cambridge Score of 176 or more with no single test score below 169

PTE Academic 60

Duolingo 115

CAEL overall band score of 70 and no part below 60

Canadian Language Benchmarks (CLB) Level 8 for all areas: reading, writing, speaking, listening

Application Deadlines:

To be considered on an equal basis for programs beginning in the fall, your application must be received no later than February 1.

After February 1, applications will be considered on a first-come, first-served basis, provided there are still vacancies in the program(s) of your choice.

For programs beginning in January, the equal consideration deadline is October 1.
