The Gerontology Certificate Program equips students with essential knowledge and competencies to effectively understand, engage with, and advocate for older adults. The curriculum focuses on delivering elder-centered services through a comprehensive, quality-driven, and collaborative approach designed to achieve safe and optimal functional outcomes. Students will also develop leadership abilities to serve as strong advocates for the elderly. To participate in the mandatory clinical placement component, students must fulfill specific clinical prerequisites and submit all required documentation by the program's designated deadlines. Failure to meet these requirements or submit documentation on time will lead to withdrawal from courses involving clinical placement, with no tuition refunds issued if clinical access is revoked.
