The Fitness and Health Promotion program at Sault College empowers you to motivate individuals and communities toward healthier lifestyles through tailored wellness initiatives. This two-year curriculum nurtures your enthusiasm for wellbeing by equipping you with skills to evaluate, create, and deliver customized fitness and health plans for diverse populations. You understand how to achieve objectives - now help others discover their potential. Additionally, graduates aiming for degrees in Sport Sciences, Kinesiology, or Exercise Science can transfer applicable credits to partner institutions. That's right - complete both a diploma and degree in just four years. Qualified participants may also obtain nationally accredited professional certifications through this program.
Ontario Secondary School Diploma with Grade 12 English (C or U) and at least one of the following senior sciences: Grade 11 Biology or Physics (C) or Grade 12 Chemistry (C) or Grade 12 (U) Exercise Science or mature student status.
Results must be from within two years of the start of the program and must meet the following minimum requirements:
TOEFL score of 79-80 for the Internet-based test (iBT) and no test below 20
IELTS score of 6.0 with no band lower than 5.5
Cambridge English Exams C1 Advanced/CAE 180 or CAE C
C2 Proficiency/CPE 200 or CPEC
PTE Academic 60
Duolingo 105
CAEL CE 60
Canadian Language Benchmarks (CLB) Level 7 for all areas: reading, writing, speaking, listening
