Students who complete Business - Marketing Programs are equipped to perform marketing roles in both Canadian and international business settings. These graduates have proven their mastery of vocational learning objectives that encompass general business principles as well as specialized marketing knowledge.
Those earning an Ontario College Diploma in Business - Marketing can utilize planning, assessment, analysis, and evaluation competencies to manage product or service marketing, including promotion, pricing, and distribution strategies that bolster organizational marketing efforts. These professionals can collaborate in developing marketing strategies, integrated communication plans, and assist in executing business initiatives. They also possess the communication, research, relationship-building, and analytical skills needed to enhance an organization's marketing operations. With increasing emphasis on creative solutions, innovative approaches, and entrepreneurial mindset, marketing graduates can track and assess new developments and technologies, concentrating on marketing outcomes and potential areas for enhancement and transformation.
Ontario Secondary School diploma with Grade 12 English (C) ENG4C and Grade 11 Foundations for College Math (C) MBF3C or mature student status.
Results must be from within two years of the start of the program and must meet the following minimum requirements:
TOEFL score of 79-80 for the Internet-based test (iBT) and no test below 20
IELTS score of 6.0 with no band lower than 5.5
Cambridge English Exams C1 Advanced/CAE 180 or CAE C
C2 Proficiency/CPE 200 or CPEC
PTE Academic 60
Duolingo 105
CAEL CE 60
Canadian Language Benchmarks (CLB) Level 7 for all areas: reading, writing, speaking, listening
Application Deadlines:
To be considered on an equal basis for programs beginning in the fall, your application must be received no later than February 1.
After February 1, applications will be considered on a first-come, first-served basis, provided there are still vacancies in the program(s) of your choice.
For programs beginning in January, the equal consideration deadline is October 1.
