If you're passionate about machinery, solving mechanical challenges, and working with your hands, explore Saskatchewan Polytechnic's Industrial Mechanics program. This program provides fundamental training to install, troubleshoot, overhaul, and maintain industrial machinery and mechanical systems.
Western Canada has strong demand for industrial mechanics (commonly known as millwrights). While oil & gas and mining sectors are major employers, opportunities also exist in manufacturing, milling, power generation, and chemical processing facilities.

The Industrial Mechanics certificate is a one-year program available at Saskatchewan Polytechnic's Prince Albert, Regina, and Saskatoon campuses.

Career Opportunities
Graduates find employment across diverse industries including oil and gas, mining, milling, manufacturing, power generation, and processing plants. Industrial mechanics and millwrights are needed wherever mechanical systems require installation, repair, overhaul, and maintenance.
