Saint Mary's University provides a two-year, thesis-focused Master of Arts program in Geography.

Geography is an integrative discipline centered on spatial patterns and systems that shape our planet. At Saint Mary's, we cover diverse expertise spanning both human and physical geography. We welcome applicants with backgrounds in Geography as well as related fields like Environmental Studies, Environmental Science, History, Urban Planning, and Economics.

Qualification Requirements

The normal qualification for entry is an honours BA or BSc degree in Geography, an honours degree in a cognate discipline with substantial course content relevant to geography, or a degree which the department deems to be equivalent to include, at minimum, a cumulative grade point average of at least B.

The official transcripts must be sent directly to the Faculty of Graduate Studies and Research from the host institution in a sealed university college envelope bearing an original university seal or stamp or emailed directly.
Notarized copies of transcripts will not be accepted.
