For those in disaster and emergency management, catastrophes represent more than mere dangers to evade. Succeeding in this profession requires understanding disasters within the broader context of our world. This interdisciplinary two-year program examines emergency management through a comprehensive, interconnected lens.
Students explore how environmental factors, social dynamics, economic conditions, and political systems collectively influence disaster outcomes. The curriculum covers strategic planning for crisis prevention, mitigation techniques, and fostering sustainable post-disaster rehabilitation. Additionally, participants examine methods to assist vulnerable populations while strengthening community adaptability.

Four-year (or comparable) undergraduate degree in a relevant and related field, with a minimum GPA of 'B plus (3.33/4.33), from a recognized post-secondary institution
