The Master of Engineering (M.Eng) program is a 12-month professional degree focused on coursework, tailored for engineering graduates seeking to strengthen both their technical expertise and career-ready abilities to stand out in the current employment landscape.
This program mandates completion of 8 term-length courses, with the option to include one project-based course. Students must enroll in a minimum of 4 term-length courses within their home department, with all courses listed as primary on registration documents. The curriculum permits up to 2 term-length 400-level courses.
Prospective students should note that securing a faculty supervisor is NOT a prerequisite for M.Eng program application or admission.
Master’s: 4-year Bachelor’s degree with a standing in the mid B range (70% graduating average or a ranking in the top third of the graduating class where number grades are not available).
Applicants with a Bachelors degree in a cognate science may be admitted.
We consider your grades from all four years, but we look at your last two years in specific courses.
English language requirements
For international students, if required, a TOEFL total score of at least 600 (paper-based) or TOEFL iBT minimum scores of: writing (24/30); speaking (22/30); reading (22/30); listening (20/30), for a total of 88/120. Applicants must have he minimum score in each test as well as the minimum overall score.
