The department provides two Master's programs, including a one-year MA in Political Studies. Students pursuing graduate studies in International Relations, Foreign Policy Analysis, or International Political Economy will discover faculty members with diverse teaching and research specializations. Through classroom instruction or direct research partnerships with professors, students gain access to a dedicated and encouraging faculty team, exploring various theoretical and practical challenges in international relations and political economy across both developed and developing regions. Our department actively includes graduate students in research initiatives, from co-authoring conference papers to collaborating on grant proposals and preparing publications. Furthermore, we maintain strong ties with the Centre for International and Defence Policy (CIDP), led for nearly 40 years by our International Relations faculty—currently directed by Dr. Stéfanie von Hlatky. The CIDP organizes research activities, seminars, and conferences, offering graduate students valuable participation opportunities.
