The Department of Classics provides major, medial, and minor degree tracks for a Bachelor of Honours (BAH), along with a general program for a Bachelor of Arts (BA).
These programs allow students to choose from diverse courses covering classical literature, archaeology, history, mythology, comedy, ancient sciences, theater, and the classical languages of Greek and Latin. While students can earn a Classical Studies degree without studying Latin or Greek, the Department strongly encourages Classics students to learn at least one of these foundational languages.
