The History Department provides an extensive selection of courses covering periods from ancient times to the present day, with a worldwide geographical scope. These classes draw from multiple academic perspectives and examine diverse topics such as cultural, economic, environmental, gender, global, transnational, Indigenous, intellectual, labor, legal, political, and religious history. Students can also engage in independent research, community initiatives, hands-on learning, and internship programs. By focusing on analytical reasoning, critical evaluation, investigative methods, communication, and writing proficiency, the program equips history majors for professional paths in law, education, public administration, corporate sectors, museums and archives, publishing, research, and media.
