Canada's sole undergraduate Nuclear Engineering program is offered here, with full accreditation from the Canadian Engineering Accreditation Board.
Students explore every stage of the nuclear fuel cycle, encompassing extraction, facility operations, and waste disposal. The coursework covers nuclear facility design, radiation safety, nuclear chemistry and materials, thermal transfer, steam systems, and atomic physics. You'll study existing reactor technologies while applying your knowledge to next-generation systems like supercritical-water reactors, fast reactors, and fusion reactors. Developed in partnership with industry leaders, our curriculum equips students with both theoretical foundations and practical skills demanded by employers.
