Explore political, environmental, economic, cultural, and social challenges on a worldwide scale. Learners will analyze patterns in global development, democratic systems, international justice, legal frameworks, and economic integration.
Our Global Studies curriculum investigates worldwide political, environmental, economic, cultural, and social concerns. The program utilizes political science approaches along with interdisciplinary viewpoints to thoroughly assess significant global phenomena and transformations.
Participants in this concentration will concentrate on environmental crises and technological advancements in communications. Additionally, coursework will involve proposing viable approaches to pressing global challenges.

Qualification Requirements

Current Ontario secondary school students must complete the Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD) with six 4U or 4M courses, including English (ENG4U).

International English Language Testing System (IELTS): Overall score of 6.5 with no sub-score less than 6.0 (Education and Nursing programs require an overall score of 7.0).
Pearson Test of English (PTE) Academic: Minimum score of 58.
Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL): Internet-based test (iBT) with a total score of 83 (Education and Nursing programs require a total score of 87), and minimum scaled scores of Listening: 20, Reading: 20, Speaking: 19, and Writing: 20. The university's TOEFL code is 7178. TOEFL iBT Home Edition results are also considered acceptable. Paper-delivered test results will be reviewed on an individual basis.
