Students pursuing either the Bachelor of Science in Psychology or Bachelor of Arts in Psychology can opt to focus on Developmental Psychological Science. Both programs share a common first-year curriculum, followed by core psychology courses in the second year. Upper-level studies include various elective requirements. The program equips students with robust research methodology and statistical training, along with valuable technical skills for today's job market. This comprehensive education prepares graduates for advanced academic pursuits or immediate career entry.
Current Ontario secondary school students must complete the Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD) with six 4U or 4M courses, including English (ENG4U). It is recommended that Biology (SBI4U) and one of Advanced Functions (MHF4U), Calculus and Vectors (MCV4U) or Mathematics of Data Management (MDM4U) is taken.
Note: Admission is competitive. The specific average or standing required for admission varies from year to year. Students are selected by taking into consideration a wide range of criteria including school marks, distribution of subjects taken, and performance in subjects relevant to the academic program. Possession of the minimum requirements does not guarantee acceptance. Preference will be given to applicants with the best qualifications.
