Crime doesn't occur in isolation—understand its connections to law enforcement, judicial systems, corrections, youth justice, and social services. Our curriculum delves into criminological and sociological theories behind criminal behavior while questioning how societies determine what constitutes crime and who gets labeled as offenders. Taking an interdisciplinary approach, we integrate perspectives from criminology, sociology, philosophy, psychology, and legal studies. Beyond analyzing crime causation, you'll develop critical thinking about justice systems through lenses of fairness, equality, conflict resolution, and social justice.
