This program offers specializations in either textiles or jewellery/metalsmithing, with additional elective options in ceramics, wearable forms, and wearable technology. Learn from leading artists and designers in textile, jewellery, and ceramic fields.

Our fully-equipped studios provide both traditional tools and modern technology to prepare you for careers as an artist, designer, or craftsperson.

Textiles specialization students will develop original printed, woven, and experimental textiles for applications in sculpture, fashion, and surface design, utilizing both traditional techniques and modern technologies like digital printing, embroidery, and knitting.

Jewellery and metalsmithing students will craft fine jewellery and metal sculptures while mastering traditional fabrication and casting techniques alongside computer-aided design and manufacturing processes.

Develop unique printed, woven, and experimental textiles for various applications by combining conventional methods with innovative technologies including digital printing, embroidery, and knitting.

Qualification Requirements

Successful completion of the Ontario Secondary School Diploma. Grade 12 U English (ENG4U or EAE4U) with a minimum final grade of 70% IB - A minimum final score of 24 points is required. IELTS (International English Language Testing System) Academic - Score Requirements: Minimum 6.5 overall with no part below 6.0 (Academic Module). TOEFL (Test of English as a Foreign Language) iBT - Score Requirements: minimum total score of 84 with at least 20 in Reading, at least 19 in Listening, at least 22 in Speaking and at least 20 in Writing
