An Interdisciplinary Arts program enables students to investigate various visual arts disciplines through an integrated approach in studio courses like Language into Art, Idea and Process, and Media Landscapes. Learners develop expertise in three specialized study areas and combine them during their final year, featuring options for independent research and professional internships.
Comprehensive resources for media, crafts, and fine arts. The campus provides a communal darkroom and private film development stations, along with computer labs for digital photography, advanced kilns, numerous painting and drawing workspaces, and all additional NSCAD facilities. Support staff are on hand to help with equipment reservations and technical questions. The program features instructors who are recognized artists, academics, teachers, and industry innovators.

Applicants currently completing high school must submit a record of all studies from at least grade 10 onward. These transcripts should include at least mid-term or first semester grades for the graduating year.
All high school applicants must have completed grade 12 (or the highest grade level required for secondary graduation) with an average of 70% or higher, including a minimum grade of 70% in grade 12 English for university preparation. Advanced Placement (AP) courses with a grade of 4 or higher are eligible for transfer credit.
