The Arts and Sciences program (UNAS) at Northern Lights College (NLC) supports students and communities through diverse university-level education opportunities that embody the analytical and creative approaches found in arts and sciences disciplines. Students who successfully finish 30 credits in UNAS coursework earn the General Arts and Sciences Certificate. This credential encourages academic exploration across various disciplines while providing a foundation for those considering advanced university studies toward a Bachelor's Degree.
Career Pathways
Through strategic course selection at Northern Lights College, students can fulfill their first year of university requirements and seamlessly transition into various degree programs at partner institutions.
English Requirement: An IELTS with an overall score of 6.0 or higher with no band less than 5.5. Students with a writing band of 6.0 or less are required to complete English 099 with a "B" grade or higher before or during the first semester of their program. The necessity for upgrading can extend the length of the program.
