The Advanced Healthcare Leadership program serves as an optional second-year extension for Healthcare Leadership and Supervision (HCLS) students. Building upon foundational HCLS skills, this program enhances career advancement opportunities after completing the initial level. We'll deepen your expertise in leadership development, supervisory techniques, team guidance, interprofessional collaboration, organizational administration, professional standards, ethical practices, stress mitigation, health optimization, and mental wellness. The curriculum also includes specialized Crisis Management Essentials training to equip you with vital skills for navigating organizational emergencies. Upon completion, participants will receive certifications in Advanced Healthcare Leadership, Conflict Resolution, and Crisis Management Essentials, along with micro-credentials in Equity, Diversity and Inclusion (EDI), Recognizing Biases and Microaggressions, and Human Rights within EDI contexts.

Successful completion of one of the following in an applied Healthcare or Life-Sciences field:
1-year post-secondary certificate (achieved inside Canada only)
2-year post-secondary diploma
4-year post-secondary degree
