NorQuest College provides a fully accredited two-year Social Work diploma program emphasizing multicultural perspectives. This program aims to educate students about the importance of diversity, incorporating Indigenous and multicultural approaches within an ethical, anti-oppressive framework that fosters empowerment. Graduates can pursue careers in both government and non-government sectors, including fields like child welfare, healthcare, education, immigration, and justice.
They may also support individuals, families, or communities in areas such as mental health, addiction, family disputes, youth protection, newcomer settlement, and corrections.
Language Arts – this requirement can be met with any of the following, or an equivalent course:
60% in English Language Arts 30-1
60% in ESLG 1860
Note: Academic admission requirements are different from English language proficiency requirements. NorQuest College English for Academic Purposes courses may be used to meet both requirements
