This 10-month initiative offers career readiness training for adults with mild developmental disabilities. Our college environment allows participants to continue their education after high school while preparing for employment. You'll gain hands-on experience with modern equipment, learn industry-standard workplace procedures, food safety protocols, and essential life skills like money management and budgeting. With continuous guidance from college instructors and staff, you'll build both confidence and valuable job skills.
The first term's classroom instruction covers occupational safety, professional communication, career development strategies, and job search preparation. Additionally, you'll participate in experiential learning activities through community outings and volunteer work.
