Open to students enrolled in an Honours Specialization or Specialization in either Child and Family Studies or Psychology. Those pursuing a Child and Family Studies or Psychology (BA) degree path - whether Honours Specialization, Specialization, or Major - can choose to obtain the Program Evaluation and Applied Research (PEAR) Certificate. The curriculum provides advanced students with hands-on opportunities in practical research and assessment, working alongside faculty research teams and community partners.
A total of 30 credits must be successfully completed.

Qualification Requirements
Official transcripts from all institutions (domestic or international) previously or presently attended, secondary schools, colleges and universities (Domestic and international applicants who have attended postsecondary institutions outside of North America must have their transcripts assessed.
International Baccalaureate (IB) diploma with at least six subjects, including three at a higher level, with a minimum final grade of 24, will be considered for admission. Students who successfully complete the International Baccalaureate (IB) diploma with a score of 24 or higher are eligible to receive up to 30 transfer credits, equivalent to one year of full-time study.
Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL): Applicants to all programs except Nursing require a minimum score of 83 (iBT) with a minimum score of 20 in reading, listening and writing, and a minimum score of 22 in speaking.
International English Language Test Service (IELTS) : Applicants to all programs except Nursing require a minimum overall band score of 6.5 with a minimum 6 in reading, listening, speaking and writing.
