The Environmental Biology and Technology (ENBT) program equips you with comprehensive knowledge and diverse skills to explore Environmental Biology from multiple angles. You'll gain the unique advantage of blending Nipissing University's academic foundation with Canadore College's hands-on technical training. This four-year program culminates in both a university degree and college diploma, with additional specialized certification opportunities available.
Upon completion, students earn a Nipissing University Bachelor of Science degree alongside Canadore College's Environmental Technician - Protection and Compliance diploma.
Faculty details can be found under the "Our People" section, featuring Nipissing professors. The program also benefits from Canadore College instructors specializing in Chemistry, Geoscience, Microbiology, and Biology who contribute to the ENBT curriculum.
The following qualifications are the minimum required for admission consideration to Nipissing University. Applicants are required to achieve a high overall standing in their studies and must include the appropriate program specific prerequisites depending on the degree program to which they have applied. Please note that possession of the minimum admission requirements does not guarantee admission to an applicant's program of interest and/or Nipissing University.
International applicants are not eligible for consideration under Nipissing University’s Mature Student Admission Policy.
Common Credentials: British Patterned Education; CAPE (Caribbean Advanced Proficiency Examinations); French Patterned Education; International Baccalaureate (IB).
Achieve the required proficiency level on one of the following tests of English language proficiency:
Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL): minimum score of 83 (iBT) with a minimum score of 20 in reading, listening and writing, and a minimum score of 22 in speaking.
International English Language Test Service (IELTS): minimum overall band score of 6.5 with a minimum 6.5 in reading, listening, speaking and writing.
Pearson Test of English (PTE) Academic: minimum overall score of 58 with a minimum score of 56 in speaking, writing, reading and listening.
