Seeking a unique, fulfilling, and demanding career path where you can apply your investigative abilities within private law enforcement? Graduates of the Protection, Security and Investigation (Private Security) program will find their analytical capabilities, research proficiency, and interview techniques invaluable for addressing organizational and individual security risks. Instruction is provided by ex-law enforcement professionals with deep investigative backgrounds. Acquire real-world experience through volunteer placements with community service organizations. Practical training occurs in the Justice Studies Simulation Lab. After completing their first year and First Aid certification, students qualify to take the Ontario Security Guard licensing examination.
