Graduates of the Police Foundations program take on vital responsibilities within law enforcement, safeguarding communities by upholding legal standards: ensuring the security of individuals and their possessions while working to deter, identify, and solve criminal activities. The program features practical instruction from retired law enforcement professionals with deep investigative backgrounds. Acquire real-world skills through volunteer placements with city police departments and community organizations. Engage in immersive training within the Justice Studies Simulation Lab. After completing their first year and First Aid certification, students qualify to take the Ontario Security Guard licensing examination.
