Working as a Pharmacy Technician places you at the heart of patient care, where you'll play a vital role in ensuring proper medication distribution across various healthcare environments. Our program offers practical training in cutting-edge community and hospital lab settings, complete with a mock community pharmacy and sterile preparation area. You'll learn about current pharmaceutical advancements, industry standards, and medication management systems through our nationally recognized curriculum. The program emphasizes collaborative healthcare education centered on patient outcomes, featuring roughly 360 hours of hands-on clinical placement. Upon completion, graduates qualify to take the Pharmacy Examining Board of Canada certification test, with successful candidates becoming licensed Regulated Pharmacy Technicians through the Ontario College of Pharmacists.
