Companies now require professionals capable of performing sophisticated analyses, translating findings into actionable recommendations, and serving as liaisons between business units and technical teams. The Business and Advanced Analytics program equips graduates to meet this demand.
Our alumni excel at defining business needs and performing complex analyses to create data-informed strategies that enhance decision-making and drive market leadership. They also demonstrate the business acumen to effectively communicate key insights across various organizational levels. The curriculum builds expertise in critical areas including: business needs assessment, operational workflows, strategic planning, statistical methods, coding for data science, data infrastructure, predictive modeling, Machine Learning, Cloud technologies, data visualization, and narrative-driven reporting.

A Diploma or Degree in Mathematics, Business, Economics, Science, Computer Science, Information Technology, or Engineering

Other combinations of education and related experience may be considered; however, applicants are required to have completed course work or gained experience in the following subject areas:
- Mathematics (linear algebra and statistics)
- Intermediate Excel (formulas, pivot tables, charting)

The following English proficiency tests can be submitted to NBCC for admission consideration: International English Language Testing System (IELTS) Academic test only - Minimum score of 6.0 with no subject test score less than 5.5; Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) - Minimum score of 80 with no subject test less than 18 (iBT Test); Duolingo English Test - Minimum score of 100 out of 160; Cambridge English - Overall Cambridge English Scale score of 169; Canadian Academic English Language (CAEL) - Minimum score of 60; The Canadian Test of English for Scholars and Trainees (CanTEST) - Minimum score of 4.5 with no subtest less than 4.0; PTE Pearson Test of English (Academic) - Minimum score of 65 with no subject test less than 60.
