The Civil Engineering Technology program prepares students for designing highway, transportation, and urban infrastructure systems. The initial year focuses on fundamental engineering technology concepts, including engineering science, materials technology, surveying, and technical drawing. Numerous courses overlap with other technology disciplines, allowing for potential credit transfers. During the second year, the curriculum shifts to specialized topics in highway and municipal infrastructure, encompassing road engineering, water and wastewater systems, fluid dynamics, and environmental management.
Throughout the program, learners will develop and practice their competencies through theoretical instruction, intensive practical exercises, and both individual and collaborative projects in realistic settings.
