The Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) program equips students with the skills to thrive in Canada's and the world's commercial, nonprofit, and public sectors while fostering active community involvement. This degree primarily focuses on preparing graduates for direct entry into the workforce. Additionally, the BBA serves as a foundation for pursuing professional certifications or graduate studies at universities across Canada and internationally. Those considering advanced degrees should confirm specific program prerequisites to ensure their undergraduate qualifications meet admission standards.
BBA candidates can choose from seven specialization areas: Accounting, Finance, General Management, Human Resources, International Business, Marketing, and Supply Chain Management. The General Management option provides flexibility to explore business subfields like Innovation and Entrepreneurship or Social Innovation, or to combine business studies with minors from other academic departments.
All majors integrate core business subjects such as general management, accounting, marketing, human resources, entrepreneurship, finance, law, operations management, international business, business communication, organizational behavior, and strategic management. These are complemented by the General Education requirements mandatory for all Mount Royal University bachelor's degree students.
