Mohawk College's Therapeutic Recreation program has undergone thorough evaluation and meets the standards set by Therapeutic Recreation Ontario (TRO) and the Essential Competency Framework (ECF). Consequently, students completing this program (283, 963) qualify for TRO registration immediately after completing their studies.
Developing skills in both individual and group presentations forms a fundamental requirement of the curriculum.

llied university degree or college diploma in Health Studies or Human Services (70% guideline) with at least 2 courses in psychology.

If English is not your first language or you have earned the equivalent of the Ontario Secondary School Diploma or post-secondary education in a Country where English is not a first language, you will be required to provide proof of one of the following:
