The Master of Public Health is an advanced degree program designed for professionals from diverse backgrounds seeking practical training for careers in public health. This program equips graduates with the skills needed to enhance community health and prevent diseases and injuries through public health initiatives.
The Faculty of Medicine offers resources including guest lectures, teaching assistant positions, funding opportunities, administrative assistance, and a dedicated Office of Research & Graduate Studies for medical graduate students. The Health Sciences Library, situated near the Faculty in the Health Sciences Centre, provides additional support.
The PopulationPublic Health specialization includes coursework and culminates in either a research project or practicum, with options for full-time (one-year) or part-time enrollment.
