The iBA program caters to students passionate about examining global trends and international affairs through the lens of Humanities and Social Sciences. This program aims to equip learners with crucial knowledge and critical thinking abilities needed for analyzing cultural, economic, political, religious, and social phenomena on a worldwide level.
While both the iBA and traditional BA degrees require 120 credit hours to complete, the iBA stands apart by mandating specialized international studies courses and language training.
Classics delves into the civilizations of ancient Greece and Rome, situating them within the wider Mediterranean context. This inherently interdisciplinary field examines Latin and Greek literature, archaeological findings, intellectual heritage, material artifacts, classical influences on later cultures, and examinations of gender, ethnicity, and social class. Though focused on antiquity, Classics remains pertinent to modern society and institutions. By studying ancient civilizations and their lasting impact, students gain valuable insights applicable to current and future contexts.
