Memorial's Philosophy Department fosters a vibrant academic environment where students delve into fundamental questions about human existence and thought. Our faculty members specialize in diverse philosophical areas, with particular strengths in historical philosophy, while also offering deep knowledge in ethics, political philosophy, logic, metaphysics, epistemology, philosophy of science, religion, mind, phenomenology, existentialism, aesthetics, and hermeneutics.
Graduate diploma - These disciplinary programs enable students to gain advanced academic qualifications without undertaking a complete master's degree. Ideal for career advancement or specialized study, these diplomas allow for focused exploration within a specific philosophical field.
