Grenfell offers Atlantic Canada's exclusive four-year Bachelor of Fine Arts in Theatre, with concentrations in either acting or technical theatre production. Acting concentration – Master core performance techniques encompassing vocal training, physical movement, and diction. These foundational skills will be applied to character analysis, performance methods, and stage productions.
Our theatre curriculum blends hands-on training with scholarly study. Alongside mentorship from industry professionals, you'll receive a comprehensive liberal arts education with focused coursework in dramatic texts. This dual approach prepares you equally for a career in theatre or as a springboard to other professions.
Personalized instruction is central to our philosophy. Acting workshops maintain a 20-student cap, while technical production classes are limited to just 15 participants.
