Memorial's bachelor of commerce (co-operative) (B.Comm.(Co-op.)) blends dynamic classroom instruction with hands-on business exposure. Admission to the B.Comm.(Co-op.) program is selective. Fulfilling basic entry criteria doesn't ensure acceptance.
Applications for the B.Comm.(Co-op.) program open after Business One completion. Candidates need a 65% average across Business One's 30 credit hours (10 courses), plus a 60% cumulative GPA. At least 15 credit hours must be earned at Memorial.
Applicants shall have completed the requirements for a recognized high school diploma or equivalent.
English Language Requirements:
Duolingo English Test (DET) - A minimum score of 115.
IELTS - A minimum overall band score of 6.5, with at least a band 6 in reading and writing. General training results are not acceptable.
TOEFL - For admission to winter (Jan) 2025 and later: A minimum score of 83 on the TOEFL iBT or TOEFL iBT Home Edition, with a minimum score of 20 in reading and writing; For admission to fall (Sept) 2024 and earlier: A minimum score of 79 on the TOEFL iBT or TOEFL iBT Home Edition, with a minimum score of 20 in reading and writing, and not less than 17 in listening and speaking.
Canadian Academic English Language (CAEL) Assessment: For admission to winter (Jan) 2025 and later: A minimum overall score of 60; For admission to fall (Sept) 2024 and earlier: Minimum band scores between 50 and 60 in each of the four skills tested (reading, writing, listening and speaking), with at least two band scores of 60.
PTE Academic: A minimum score of 58 (fall (Sept) 2024); A minimum overall score of 60 ((Jan) 2025 and later).
Cambridge Assessment English: A minimum score of 176 in C1 Advanced or C2 Proficiency.
Michigan English Test (MET) - A minimum score of 59 is required on the MELAB.
