McMaster's MSc in eHealth is a distinctive graduate program that delves into digital health informatics. This interdisciplinary initiative combines expertise from three renowned McMaster institutions – the Faculty of Health Sciences, Faculty of Engineering, and DeGroote School of Business – blending healthcare theory with IT and business principles. Students gain practical experience through an 8-month internship, witnessing how these disciplines converge to revolutionize healthcare systems.
Prior IT education isn't required for admission to the eHealth MSc. Our flexible curriculum allows students to tailor their studies through electives and research projects. Choose from various study formats including full-time coursework, thesis-based research, or part-time enrollment to suit your academic goals and schedule.
Student must have: Honours Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent; B+ (B- for Engineering) minimum average, based on a full year equivalent of final year courses (3rd/4th level) relevant to the program.
